Batum - for some reason I found his TOs entertaining. He threw some really horrible passes. But boy did he make big plays and shots too

Cody - great tandem with Batum, good hustle

Marvin - more great hustle, good shooting, leadership, D, the usual wonderful Marvin traits

HM: Kemba but too much Kembaball and he needs to grow out of it
Lin: I thought Lin was tentative and hesitant on most plays and out of it. But then Cliff says come in and play in the clutch and he was, clutch
Hawes: Made a lot of big shots really and a great tip in on I think an MKG miss, or maybe it was a Batum miss. Some silliness in the first stint of BF1 but he made up for it.

BF: Lamb. He made a few good plays but he needs to stop trying to do too much in BF1. Let Lin set him up, or Batum.

Note: MKG noticeably tired. He was strangely sort of a non-factor and not the force of the first two games. Slowed down a lot this game. Of course it is because he's been out for months.

Good for Cliff to make some effective late-game plays and not go to the usual, predictable stuff. Good to trust Lin who delivered for him.

Yeah. From a poster who has just taken interest in the team am a bit clueless since it seems like other posters debate on other posters' perception of who helped the team win on a particular game. Is it the list of 'stat stuffers' as one poster stated or whom one thinks helped win the day? If PJ's only pts decided the game for the Hornets he naturally gets hammers or for the last game is it just Lin?

Hammers have always been 100% up to the poster and how they perceive the game and the impact players have had. Different posters look for different things.

Traditionally there has been no cross talk in the Hammers thread. Even if you don't agree with someone's Hammers, they are theirs to give out as they see fit.

That said, the maturity level and unbiased nature (although there has always been some level of bias - this year it's at supernova levels) has been higher in previous years.

The Hammer's are something a lot of us old time posters take very seriously and hold dear to our hearts.

If anyone wants a quick exit from RGM, destroying the Hammers (or Hammer threads) are a sure way to achieve that.

Hope this provides some clarity.

I deleted a whole bunch of posts from this thread. They didn't belong here.

Gold: Bats
I liked the more aggressive Bats.

Silver: Marv
After the little slump he had it's nice to have early season Marv back.

Bronze: Kemba
Really liking his "drive with an intent to score" Vs "drive with an intent to be fouled" approach. His driving is as improved as his 3 ball IMO - which is awesome.
