For those complaining about heavy minutes tonight for Kemba, I'd say that tonight is probably the one game this year that a coach should feel good about playing a guy a few extra minutes. We don't play again for 9 days.

Plus, even when we were up 16 in the mid 4th, that lead didnt feel entirely safe due to the fact that the Pacers were scoring basically every single time down the floor after MKG got hurt and they still had all their starters in the game.

Secure the win, first and foremost.

I thought everyone played well tonight, one of the most complete, start to finish victories we've had this year.

And I told you guys in the Lin thread that the 2nd unit just needed more time to snap out of the unexplained funk. :)

yes, i did... i can understand he does that on defense to help the rotation... man, on offense, he yelled too, lin was handling the ball, nobody moves, he was dribbling to find lane, with 7 seconds left, Clifford yelled 5, lin busted a move got a turnover... he needs to relax, let guys play.....

Clifford always do that, remind player about the shot clock, so he would shout out the seconds. I don't think that's a problem though.

i thought it is distracting...
i like coaches who are tough on defense but give a little freedom on offense... my knock on JVG/Thibs/Clifford is they tend to over coach at times...
Hi Clutchie, I love you... :kiss

Have no problem with him shouting seconds. its all the other parts when he yells. I wouldn't want anyone to scream their ass off on offense when im trying to make a decision.

I've heard of micro-management before but micro-coaching is a new one :)

Tough break for MKG and I hope it's not serious. Also, what a fantastic win in an away game at Indiana. Definitely makes a statement.
