I did something I may never have done as a Bobcats / Hornets fan - when BRK was making their run I let myself be like "not even worried we got this."
Probably not a good idea, but it paid off and made for a much more pleasant viewing experience down the stretch.
Anyone else notice Big Al sprinting down the court on offense multiple times in the 3rd quarter? Looked like he was showing off that he was actually able to get down the court.

Wow we scored 38 points in the 4th quarter? Did not feel like that to me.

Got to go to the game tonight. Great seats lower level behind the basket, thanks to my friend's tutoring company. Seeing Kemba score at the end of the half was electric. BK fans actually got pretty loud towards the end of the game. I really thought this might be a trap game for us on a back to back.
Batum took over in the 4th. Not sure if he's done that yet this year.

Batum has been quite Mr. 4Q and clutch in maybe the last 3 or 4 games now.

In two words: Nicolas Batum. What a player. What a basketball IQ, what a wisdom. This is the type of player we needed in order to be in this level. The quality of this player is really magnificent. I just hope he can stay healthy until playoffs and stay in this amazing form. If we'll finish the regular season in the Eastern 3rd place, he'll get most of the credit.

A good look back from Lamar: http://www.atthehive.com/2016/3/23/11290112/charlotte-hornets-105-brooklyn-nets-100-notes-and-observations
Al becomes a lot more palatable when he is willing to pass the rock

My favorite moment of last night was when we ran a Kemba - Lin - Lee - Hawes - Al lineup. I really didn't think Cliff would plug Hawes in at PF. As Lamar pointed out, it actually worked.

Hawes is a bigger and slower version of Frank.
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.

shows how much Clifford has changed, in his first year that would have been unthinkable for Clifford.
2 centres on together would have given him seizures

For some reason though he treated Maxiell as a versatile player. We saw pretty much of Al/Maxiell or Biz/Maxiell where Max was the power forward.

It's been very weird. On the one hand, he's had a few unexpected dunks since his return. At times he indeed can also run down the floor. On the other hand, he's been averaging like a missed gimmie per game. Hard to say whether he is in good shape or not.

his play of Max was sorta weird overall.

I don't like the pairing, but it didn't kill us (albeit against one of the worst teams in the league, but I digress). All in all I've been impressed with all the different lineups we've seen this year. One of my favorites - not sure which game - was recent when we went super small and closed with Kemba, Lin, Lee, Batum, and Marvin.
