To counter the argument that the offense stalled when Lin was at point. How many passes do our bigs miss because they weren't ready for a pass. Al knows now to expect those dump off passes from Lin but the other guys do not. Its too bad Cody is still so slow to react to Lin's passes - he is great with Batum's passes since they give him more time as Nic does not penetrate as much and gives him a lead to the basket - with Lin's passes he is already under the basket and has to be ready otherwise the ball will zip right pass him or he does not see a wrap around coming. And that turnover where Frank did not continue rolling or was held by the Cavs was a good try by Lin. I think Lin should stop attempting those plays until they get it working better with practice.
There were also at least three or four wide open threes that resulted when Lin penetrated and kicked out.

There are six games left in the regular season. I don't think "they aren't used to playing together" is a viable excuse at this point.

Well, either they're not used to playing with Lin at PG since Lin's usage as a PG was minimal up to now or Cody's just has lousy hands because frankly those passes were all good passes and the big should have collected them.

Well, Al has certainly gotten better at catching those passes over the past few games. Hope he's able to play soon.
Thanks for the honesty.MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.

The bigs clearly were not expecting those passes. So Lin and the bigs do have to get on the same page. Either the bigs should expect the passes or Lin shall stay away from such passes.

Depends on what player is used to Lin's unpredictable passes vs. another. Even Batum and Cody don't always hook up and Batum has much gentler passes and Bats/Cody have great chemistry.
