League rules Zeller went straight up and that Lee got the ball first before hitting Wade's arm (the pic Heat fans have been posting).
So, there you have it.

Also in the report, Wade did not goaltend. I agree with that call. I never saw evidence Wade goaltended. Lee should have dunked. End of story.
And Wade should have pulled up for a jumper rather than fishing for contact by driving into two defenders, obviously looking to get a foul called in last 2 seconds.

The one call they say they did miss, was that Deng fouled Cody on the last inbound and it wasn't called. Cody should have been shooting two FTs, which obviously he could have missed, they could call timeout and make a miracle 3 to tie or win.
Edit, just re-read, they say Deng fouled Cody before Hawes thru the pass. That's a completely different story. That would have resulted in two FTs and the ball back, right?

NBA playoff officiating is as reliable as ever
That was a tough ending to Game 5 though, a lot of 50/50 bang-bang plays. I felt like the calls evened out in the end. There is certainly no reason to believe that the NBA would conspire to favor Charlotte over Miami (as some of the more shrill GB posters have hinted at, though I assume the majority of Heat fans know better), the league office is surely praying that a Heat/Cavs ECF saves them from a TV ratings apocalypse on our side of the playoff bracket. Favoring Charlotte would be a terrible decision.

Yeah. There were only two incorrect calls in the L2M report and both favored the Heat.

You all have a legit shot at the ECF, but I think Cleveland makes quick work of us if we advance. You sure you want Horford? Your Al has performed a lot better this postseason....he's made Whiteside look silly on some of his post moves.
Um......3 or 6......didn't you guys have your fate in your hands and then lost to the out-of-the-playoffs, resting-their-main-guys-but-have-a-tons-of-free-agents Wiz?
What the heck is wrong with Horford??? Can't score on guys like Kelly and Sully?
Yeah, that game vs Washington was frustrating. We needed a Heat loss and they were up 26 at Boston so I ruled it out and Boston comes all the way back to win only for us to lose to a really bad team.
If you guys had beaten the Wiz, we would have been facing the Celts, the preferred matchup for most of us, we were really really pi$$ed. Well, guess it hasn't worked out bad so far.
Horford is shooting too many jumpers and playing too passive. Rarely drives or tries to post anyone up nowadays...it's annoying. Btw, I can't believe people are complaining about the no call with Wade on the last possession after he clearly got away with goaltending with a minute left.
Dang, Horford isn't that old?!
Thanks for the honesty.MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.
