B Roberts played very well in the toughest stretch of last season... Vet min is a steal, very solid guard, better than Austin Rivers, always...lol

*sigh*

Roberts is crap.. I'd rather have brought in a D-League guy that has room to grow and might actually turn out to be good at something.

I'd take Roberts at $1M over Austin Rivers at $11.7M though.

Yes Austin Rivers is making $11.7M per year for the next 3 years. Yeah.

Contract wise i do agree with you, but as a basketball player Rivers is much better than Roberts.

You've got to try pretty hard to get upset about signing BRob to a vet minimum deal.

much better? do you know B Roberts pushed Rivers to 3rd string in New Orleans... Rivers could not run a team, could not shoot, could not defend...
I do agree Rivers has a lot potentials though, the kid works hard, plays in a pressure free environment now...

In the same way that using off-brand single-ply toilet paper is better than not using toilet paper at all... yes I agree with you.

Is this a challenge? Let me get a few drinks in me and I'll try later.

That's 3 years ago. At this point of their career, Roberts has reach his ceiling while Rivers is still improving. Just look at the stats between Rivers and Roberts last season. That being said, i have no problem with Roberts as the 3rd string PG, he'll see limited minutes behind Walker and Sessions, wouldn't be a big factor for this team success barring injury.
