My favorite moment was that Lamb and 1 floater, he knew he was getting it as soon as he started that drive. Moment 2 was the dagger 3. Really liked closing with him on the floor and Batum at PF.

Kemba looks spent. His minutes have been lower but his usage is higher this season. Think he's feeling the grind right now.

Batum's second half defense was the stuff that makes people say he's a solid defender, when he's locked in his length makes him a difference maker on defense. I think Cliff was calling him out more than anyone with that physicality comment.

Do we have three of the best rebounding wings in the league? I know the scheme helps, but MKG, Batum, and Lamb all seem like elite rebounders at their positions.

I agree, Kemba looks spent. I think with Lamb or MKG, you go with what the game dictates. Lamb is a good weapon to have and he can make big shots late in games.

Yay! I'm not made any longer. It took Rainman 6.5 games to figure it out, but he finally went small to matchup with the other team going small. It's a Christmas Miracle.

Collins had some A+ Lamb commentary tonight.

Can I get a thank you for my reverse jinx thread about free throws?

Which is why we should dare any team to go small against us. We really should be able to dominate the glass while playing small vs anyone with any combination of Lamb, Batum, MKG and Marvin, a group that can also switch everything.

What was the Collins comment about "mutton" earlier in the 4th with Lamb scored?

Barnes may have had some success vs MKG in that 3rd Q, but MKG was playing some lights out defense. If the Mavs want to iso Barnes and let him hold the ball for 15 seconds and take contested 2s vs MKG, I'll take that all game long and if Barnes makes enough tough shots to win, so be it.

Felt like DWill abused Kemba this game, but checked the box score and he was just 6-18 from the field so it wasn't all bad.

Good night for us around the league. Hawks, Bulls, Pacers, Raptors and Celtics all losers to WC teams tonight (and Cavs).

Feels like Cody and Frank must spend a lot of time working on floaters together. Both seem to rely heavily on that when they are attacking the paint.

Look at the boxscore and explain to me how this was a close game. We shot over 50% from the field, went to the line a lot and shot over 90%, crushed them on the boards, season average in TOs...

Weird disconnect between box score and end result.

Just finished the 1st quarter. Clifford playing Hawes/Hibbert when the Mavs have Barnes at PF has me facepalming.

Great gif of the work MKG was doing on defense last night

Barnes was pretty damn impressive, I agree with fats that MKG was doing work and HB was just knocking down really tough shots.

I do still think MKG overhelps on the perimeter though, there were several wide open 3's that we gave up because MKG overhelped off his man in PNR situations where I didn't think the help was really necessary. He needs to either be softer when helping off a three point shooter or really attack the ball on a double so the pass can't get out.
