What is the best defense for this? Should Marco have been sticking closer to Crawford or just more aware of #12 in the corner? You can see that he doesn't even notice Crawford move until Rivers is already by him.

If I had to guess, I would think Marco shouldn't have even looked to help out against Rivers. Frank had already move down to help out in the post, so Marco's primary job was to watch Crawford(a known 3 point specialist) like a hawk. If Marco sticks to his man, the worst position we'd be in would Kemba would have to guard #12 for a second instead of the wide open 3.

This is the 2nd 3 mistake Clifford was talking about. You have Lamb here, getting caught up in helping Marco against ALAN ANDERSON???

This is the type of defense that lets a 35% 3 point shooter hit at 62%. And, while you could argue, that he isn't a sharp career 3 point shooter, just look at his last 5 games. He is hitting at close to 50%. These 2 mistakes cost the Hornets the win and it's the type of thing the team should have known about and defended against.

I have no idea how we get a 5 seed. We are 7 game back I think. We have been really bad since our good start and I don't see why that will change with less than 30 games to go.

We can't beat good teams and we lose to bad teams on a pretty consistent basis.

You're absolutely right about the 5th seed for some reason the Wiz always escape me. I'll post what I have on the PO thread.
