What is he staring at? My soul? Can he read my mind?

He hits the offensive glass like a boss.
I think he is worth a flyer

I don't think for a second this is coincidental as Hinkie is well educated and a fan of Classic British Lit

The Hornets have signed Ray McCallum to a second 10 Day Contract. No word yet on Mike Tobey, who also expired today.

I liked what I saw from Tobey last night, light on his feet. Seems like a legit 3rd string Center. Is that even a compliment?

Same. I made a comment in the game thread that I will repeat here. He seems to have pretty good defensive instincts. He rotated to help when needed, got back to his guy immediately. He did not hesitate to make a decision of when to rotate and when to stay at home. He seems to be agile enough to hedge away from the basket. He did a pretty good job of finding his man and putting a body on him during defensive rebound situations. He also seems fairly active on the O-boards. All that being said, I have no idea what he can do offensively, including setting screens. I saw him attempting to set screens, but didn't really get a good idea as to how effective they were. Early returns at least suggest there is not a big drop-off between him and Plumlee. Which is both encouraging and depressing, depending on your view.

Tobeys issue is just that he isn't very athletic and doesn't stand out in any one area. He does have solid size and seems to have solid fundamentals and mental game.
