Yep. I want to see what Frank and Cody can do together. I also want to see if Marv on the bench can steady things there.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Hyperbolic exaggeration of how utterly **** Lin was in gm6 still exists here? Yes, Lin went 1-8, 3TOs and 5 fouls.

I don't think it's hyperbolic exaggeration to say that's a pretty objectively **** performance. I get you guys love Lin and all, but seems weird that you can't acknowledge that he had a bad game. It's like you're taking it personally when I point out that he played terribly in that game compared to his past several games in the series.

YB, this poster is in a league of his own, if you get my drift. Most sane Lin fans know he had a crap 6th game.

Lin had a very reasonable and foreseeable "bad" game.
1. the coach insisted to play Batum, this affected lin's game and team's chemistry.
2. after 3 dominant performance helping Charlotte came back from 0-2 to 3-2, anyone not blind could see that stopping Lin is the key to win. A game plan to stop Lin was expected.

If there's someone responsible for the loss, i would say Clifford, he was too worried that Batum may not stay in Charlotte and take the chance to please him by playing him even he was not ready yet.

"Hey, NIc, you know we value you more than the playoffs."

And the strategy worked, Nic stay, everyone happy.

Nic played 14 minutes that game. Lin played 24. I guess MIA missed the memo on the "stop Kemba" game plan.

I think most Lin fan agree that he had a bad game in game 6, but what people don't understand is why zero-in on his performance as key to why Charlotte did not advance, specially when you could make a greater case to the fact Marvin, who shot 40% from 3Pt during that season, couldn't hit anything during the playoff series....At the very least, Lin did played his part in 3 victories, and since he's not a star, you shouldn't expect that type of consistency from him as a 6th-man with less minutes to work with.

I also personally, would had kept Batum out of game 6 since the team had played so well after he got injured in 3 straight games..I know that was never going to happen, but you could make a case that with him out, Lin had a bit more space to shoot + minutes....But hey, all this is water under the bridge...Not sure why Lin's name was brought in this thread.

Has anyone petitioned RealGM to start up a Lin forum along with the other teams....I have never seen anything like the fandom that follows him around and clogs up everything else...

Reminded me of Golden State's collapse and subsequent OT loss to Memphis awhile back.
