That was embarrasing and no, Allan Williams is not a scrub. He was killing it in the summer league for the Rockets a few seasons ago, this guy got potential to be a good role player.

I can't believe Bri and JOB not only played but scored in the same game. I hope for Frank to be okay but it looks really bad tbh.

reminds me a little of the Dunlop year, started well, then teams bothered to scout them, then destroyed them.

I pitied Brian Roberts tonight. He gets paid handsomely to sporadically play basketball, a game I love, and I dearly pitied him.

We probably could've traded Batum before the deadline too, some teams would've been interested.

excluding Batum's crazy 2nd half vs Clippers, he is 10-52 over past 4 games. I think he was 8-11 in that 2nd half. Even if you add that he's 18-63 over past 4 games. 9-26 two games prior making him 27-89 on 6 game road trip. Shame, because he had been fairly efficient in the month or so prior.

Batum has to go at some point during the summer, right? It's so obvious that he's peaked, and his contract will only get more onerous in the future. I understand why the brain trust felt we had to give him a big deal, we didn't want to lose an asset, but that asset is rapidly devaluing and may within a year or less have negative value around the league.

He was just so lackadaisical in this game, and basically almost every other game. Sometimes it works and he looks like a natural and that's great, but more often than not it's just a blah approach that hurts the team. He isn't fit for 2nd option status, if we could swap him out for someone that gives a **** it would be huge for the team.

KemberLin used to be one of the nightmare guard combo, could be a foundation to be built on. Too bad they couldn't see it.

The Hornets moves made sense at the time. MKG, to be honest, has had a meh season, Marv has fallen off, I've always felt Batum was something of a complementary player, and so it looks like the team has taken a big step backwards. Cho really worked no magic this season, no just what we needed type of trade, and things just have gone south. I did not expect a Hornets loss to the lowly Suns. Not acceptable. I thought Charlotte would be in the playoffs this season and was looking to get into the second round. Wasn't meant to be this season. The front office has a lot of work to do.

If the opportunity cost was not Lee and Lin, then it would be a more reasonable move. But when you have to choose between them, and also after Batum's playoff performance, the move looked bad.

this is how I feel about it. Batum reminds me so much of Diaw, making a complementary team player and he will do great things.
Expect him to do more and be more of an alpha male (as expected of most max players) and he will disappoint. It's just not in their makeup to consistently play like that.

They are now in difficult situation of tanking or not, after a 48wins season, and one of the best teams in the second half season.

Suns are taking it to the Thunder tonight. Maybe we just got unlucky to face them while they are running hot.
