Yes. We already know he's a terrible offensive player. He needs to be a huge plus on defense in order to even be on the floor...

Do you think we are a top 5 defensive team? I'm not seeing it.

And if you can't be a top defensive team and you have three total offensive zeros in Howard/MKG/MCW then look out...

If you think Dwight is a bad post defender, then yeah we are an all around terrible defensive team, bottom 5. I'm not sure what has led you to that conclusion though.

He's certainly a far superior defender to Horford. I really don't understand how you can hold that view.

Monk is essentially a lock to suck -- only the depth and duration of the suckiness are really in question. The goal is replacement level production by All-Star break but realistically not until 2018-19.

I'll go with 1300 minutes on an early Q2/Q4 rotation.

Yeah unlike a lot of posts I read (^^) mine tend to commit to opinions that can ultimately be proven incorrect. I also said the following last March - to you no less - and consistently had Monk top 10.

I'm still comfortable with both, although I'd love to be proven wrong on the former.

I've watched most of the US players but haven't formulated anything resembling a ranking. Maybe in 6 weeks or so.
