Tonight was a classic example of the MCW you guys should get accustomed to. 5 turnovers in 17 minutes while shooting 0-5. Not the one that went 2-2 on 3pters.

Re: Hornets vs Spurs 7PM EST
Obviously, he was pretty bad. But otoh, it's not like a great backup pg would have saved this team from the loss yesterday. Too much was missing, despite the good start defensively. 22% shooting in 1st half has to be a joke, especially considering that a huge # of those missed shots were open.
I still don't like them to turn into a jump shooting team. In 1st half, the only post up i recall were from Howard and one from Marvin (missed). Hornets are too easy to defend if the other team just has to contest some jumpers from the perimeter and lock the defensive rebound. Guys like Batum and even Lamb should re visit the bench if they don't try to post up considering they have the size & skillset to do it with good efficiency.
I don't get why Kemba came back on the court after he visited the locker room. At this point, the loss was pretty obvious. I would have liked to see more MCW/Monk/Lamb backcourt, as they are supposed to work together. MCW is taking shots because he gets open easily - part being that the defense cheats on him, but it's only true from the perimeter - , the question being why other bench players are so hard to get open. Off the ball movement - or the lack of toughness when they are contested - and the lack of efforts has probably to do with that.
But it's pretty disappointing to say the least.
