For reference, his offensive points added are pretty pitiful according to TPA

Only 6 players in NBA have worse offensive points added than Dwight.

It’s the only way to explain MCW getting 32 minutes in a game where he’s shooting 1-10 and got 5 turnovers. You’re a Sixers fan I’m sure you know after seeing MCW for a few years. Guy is toxic waste.

Maybe cuz the Raptors are a really good offensive team?
Just maybe?

Okay, but 71 points? I don't see you guys putting up 142 points on a nightly basis. But, thanks for the clarification.

Ok, but nobody puts up 142 nightly ... but ANY good offensive team is capable of doing it on any given night.
Had your statement been "How does our starting 5 composed of probably the 5 best defenders on the team give up 71 points?" then I wouldn't have commented. It's the "to the Raptors" that insinuates that the Raptors should not be able to do this.
Over the last several seasons, they have been a top tier offensive force, and this year, their attack is more diverse with a much stronger bench. They have had halves like that several times this year where they have monstrous explosions - and they have done it against good teams.

Only team we should be giving up 71 points in a half to is the Warriors.
It's not so much a slight on the Raptors, but on our team defense expectations. From our coach to the players, on paper the team last night should have been a great deal better in defense than they actually were. Maybe it was a chemistry issue with MCW being thrust into the starting lineup. I don't know, but I'm not about to sit here and say it's acceptable for the Raptors to put up 71 points on us in a half.
