
This weekend, former Bulls player and Bobcats check collector Ben Gordon was arrested for robbery. Gordon 34, is accused of punching and pulling a knife on the manager of an apartment he was renting. Allegedly Gordon came down to the apartment demanded to receive his security deposit before attacking the manger. After receiving some of the deposit Gordon left, only to return when police arrived on scene. After returning Gordon continued to demand for his money until he was arrested by police.
This is the second time Gordon was arrested this week. Earlier in the week Gordon was apprehended in Manhattan for having a fake license plate. Tuesday morning Gordon was released on 50,000 dollars bail and declined to comment.
Gordon played over eleven seasons in the NBA primarily for the Bulls but also played for the Bobcats, Pistons and Magic. Gordon collected over 80 million dollars in his eleven seasons in the NBA. He lasted played basketball in the NBA D-League now called the G-League.
