"Build around Frank"

If we built a team around those 3 I'd jump off the roof of Spectrum Center.

Obviously we hope for good draft picks and try for a superstar but we need to let Frank and Monk develop. Give them ultimate green lights. We'll be bad enough to get a top 5 pick.

Guarantee Frank will be good in the future with a consistent green light and 35 MPG

Fugging Bucks. Hornets go out there and don't give a damn at all and still get a win

Eh, the toughest team we play in January is Washington. I'm interested to see where we are at the end of January.

In fact, our schedule is unbelievably easy after these next 2.

What have you seen this season that gives you any hope we can pull off a huge number or wins, even against bad teams, or that it would in any way be our best interest to do so?

We're 4-12 over the last 16 games with losses to Miami x2, Chicago, LAL, Portland, and Milwaukee. Those four wins were against New York without Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr, Milwaukee without Giannis, and then Orlando and OKC...

I really don't understand how anyone could still be rooting for this. Do the fans of this team just not have any expectations whatsoever and just want to root for a struggle to make the 8th seed every season? We need to go 29-20 the rest of the way just to be .500 and have a shot at the 8th seed and we are probably missing Cody for another month. Do people really need to see a somewhat competitive team right now so bad that they can't even think a single season ahead.

I honestly find this franchise's approach at this point insulting as a fan.

All we had to do was let Monk and Bacon take over when we were approaching -20 towards the end of the 3rd quarter and this is an easy L and our draft standing would be currently two spots higher and .5 games away from the 5th pick.

MJ dont care about the future until he sneaks into the playoff a couple years or win 1 round until kemba leave, its about ticket sales. Belive it or not majority of casual hornets fans dont care about a rebuild they just want to see the team good enough to sneak in playoffs.

Thats depressing as hell. We probably need to go like 33-16 to avoid Cleveland and Boston...

I'm done with this team after this season if institutional changes aren't made.

Sorry, but I have to question your competitive spirit if you're ready to give up on this group. We aren't even halfway in the season and the brutal stretch is over with.

Meanwhile, other teams are going to get more injuries. This is where our depth helps out. Zeller is out, but can you really say Frank is playing much worse right now?

What. A. Comeback.

First game I've attended with the throwbacks and we throw it back with an epic comeback win! I had my Muggsy jersey and '90s Hornets hat on for it too. Dwight had one hell of a game. He almost single-handedly brought us back into it when we looked lethargic as hell in the third. Frank hit a couple big 3s and Kemba and MCW made their free throws down the stretch to get us a win.

Still not sure why people keep complaining about Howard.

It's the drag he creates on our offense. We aren't a good enough defensive team to make up for it. Did you see how much better our offense was last game when he got hurt and missed the whole game? We almost beat the Bucks on the road with Giannis.

But now that we don't have Cody you don't hear me complaining much because there's not a great alternative. I think we're clearly a better team with a Batum/MKG/Marv frontcourt, but realistically you can't expect us to play that small for large stretches of the regular season.

Yeah, the dude gives great effort for us. I can only figure it's his prior history and the way we lean on him for offense (plus his near-total refusal to come out and guard a shooter on D) that draws all the ire.

He (and Lamb) have been basically the only good surprise this season. Dwight is miles better than Plumlee, at least I get to see a bunch of dunks while we take the L, and he's not a long-term anchor on our cap. I very seriously doubt he'll make the All-Star team, but I think he should at least be considered.

I'd like to thank the Milwaukee Bucks for settling for contested jumpers all night and not burying threes on us, what a nice early Christmas present.

Cho and Co. can probably lose out to the All Star break now without getting canned, lol.
