Donte Divincenzo - 6'4" Combo Guard - Villanova

11 is possibly a bit high for Donte but I have seen him mocked at 14 recently.

Guy shoots lights out and plays well in big games. He can handle the ball and has talked about playing some point in the NBA. Fairly athletic and the measureables were really good-

"During athletic testing, the man known as “The Big Ragu,” busted out a combine-best standing vertical leap of 34.5 inches, and tied for the best max vertical leap at 42 inches. Those are huge numbers for DiVincenzo and much better than expected. He also finished fifth in the lane agility drill (10.72 seconds), was 11th in the shuttle run (3.11 seconds) and ninth in the three-quarter sprint (3.11 seconds). Those are all fantastic results for him."

We could certainly use the shooting and if he can play some pg, all the better.

I think this kid did himself a disservice by coming out this early but i guess his stock will never be this high.

I would definitely consider him in the back end of the 1st round (15+) - I think he'll find a place in the league. He also plays a little D, which boosts his stock. Only weird concern is that for a 3 pt shooter, his FT% is oddly low (71%)

I have him as a safe pick meaning I know he will do well in the NBA but not sure if I would use the 11 on him. I rather a guy with more potential like miles, mikal or hutchinson.

A lot of folks thought he would and wrote about it, but he stayed in.
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Return to Charlotte Hornets
