As for my personal list, I went with the tiered approach. Players are roughly ranked within their tier with a few exceptions, such as Doncic basically being alone in tier 1A. Players we met with are all but SGA in tier 3 + Mikal Bridges (T2) and Jerome Robinson (T4).

Tier 1
1 Luka Doncic
2 Jaren Jackson Jr.
3 Marvin Bagley
4 DeAndre Ayton

Tier 2
5 Trae Young
6 Wendell Carter
7 Mo Bamba
8 Michael Porter Jr.
9 Miles Bridges
10 Mikal Bridges

Tier 3
11 Kevin Knox
12 Zhaire Smith
13 Collin Sexton
14 Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
15 Lonnie Walker
16 Robert Williams
17 Troy Brown

Tier 4
18 Kevin Huerter
19 Jacob Evans
20 De'Anthony Melton
21 Josh Okogie
22 Mitchell Robinson
23 Jerome Robinson

Tier 5
24 Khyri Thomas
25 Anfernee Simons
26 Keita Bates-Diop
27 Dzanan Musa
28 Chandler Hutchison
29 Donte DiVincenzo
30 Aaron Holiday

Well I seriously suck at projecting. See my sig on who I would have taken at each Charlotte pick at the time of each draft pick as a track record of my suckitude. But FWIW, my top 16, three tiers:

#1: Luka Doncic SG/SF, Slovenia
#2: Marvin Bagley PF, Duke
#3: Jaren Jackson Jr. PF, Michigan St.
#4: DeAndre Ayton C, Arizona
------
#5: Trae Young PG, Oklahoma
#6: Michael Porter SF, Missouri
#7: Mo Bamba C, Texas
#8: Mikal Bridges G/F, Villanova
#9: Wendell Carter PF/C, Duke
#10: Collin Sexton PG, Alabama
------
#11: Lonnie Walker PG, Miami
#12: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander G, Kentucky
#13: Kevin Knox F, Kentucky
#14: Miles Bridges F, Michigan St.
#15: Zhaire Smith G, Texas Tech
#16: Robert Williams F/C, Texas A&M
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

1-4 (star players- the players I wouldn't hesitate to trade Kemba and more for):
Ayton, Doncic, Bagley, JJJ

5-8 (very good players, possible stars but likely starters, might consider trading up if value is right, but wouldn't break the bank to get one)
Porter, Bamba, Carter, Young

9-12 (nice players, but little to no star potential. happy to just use pick #11 on whoever is available from this list)
Mikal Bridges, SGA, Knox, Sexton

13-15 (would probably be a little disappointed at #11)
Smith, Williams, Miles

Not going to rank the rest because I have no idea after that.

doncic

jjj
ayton
carter jr
porter
bagley

miles
mikal
sexton

bamba

zhaire
lonny

sga
trae

huerter
t brown
divincenzo

r williams

huge ?s for me are porter, bamba and trae. Id at least gamble on porter, would rather avoid other. if i miss on next lillard and gobert, i can live w/ that. would be fine if we passed on both if available. also don't see the huge upside of sga. i feel like people looking too much at his fit next to monk rather than bpa and upside. but he seems smart and hardworking, so he should at least stay near our range.

we need more toughness and bulldogs on this team that can also get buckets which is why i like miles and sexton. tired of having a team full of pussies and nice guys.
