Hey guys I updated my Draft depth chart and made a few changes to the chart rating system. What I did was the A players are who I think have first round talent. The B players are who I feel have second round talent and so on... With the list being in order of best available first. I also now have YuTa as my overall best PF available and maybe even the best overall in this draft. I dunno why he is not ranked higher. I think he might can play all 5 positions and I would love us to trade back and grab him. My front runners for our first pick are Okogie, YuTa and Hutchinson. I also have rated Vince Edwards ahead of MPJ. I was considering putting him ahead of Miles but I haven't.

UPDATE guys. I was wrong again in my grading of two players. I rated Zhaire Smith and Kevin Knox way too low. I now have them as number 1 in their respective positions. I do have all the way till right before the draft to put in my players so don't judge me lol. But yeah they are better prospects than what I thought they were. When rating sooooo many players you can overlook some (which I think I probably have) but also find gems (which I probably have).

Why don't you try to rate every single player in a two week span while having other things to do and see how often you change who you think should go where... I do have until 7 oclock to put in my official rankings of who I would draft. Anything after that doesn't count... I did not say I would draft any of these players. I personally would still trade back and draft YuTa. But that doesn't mean I can't give them their just due. In years past all I used to rank were players they assumed we should take. This year I got tired of seeing players that imo should have been obvious to see as good so I said let me see if I can spot a gem and thats what I attempted to do...

My draft chart is still quite different than many experts. Not saying its better but it is different. I could have waited all the way till the end to put in my official findings but then that would have been boring and would have seemed liek WORK on my part. Part of the fun was letting you guys in on the JOURNEY of finding quality talent looking at the whole picture. Thats part of what kept me motivated to do it.

Me changing my order of players is no different than you changing the 2 or 5 you might have been looking at. Its called a process. The reason I even decided to look at knox again was because Jay Bilis just gave an interview and he said how good knox was. He said at first he did not think knox was good until the west virginia game. I then went and viewed footage of that game again and agreed with him. I then looked at zhaire and saw how good he appeared to be as well and moved him higher. If you are a GM more than likely you are going to rate players all the way up until your time to choose. Being a Gm was both hard and fun. I really felt like one. 95 percent of these players are going to bust anyway so its not like I am going to be right or that right...

If I were a troll I would have just left it as a bunch of no names. Thats what trolls do. If you look, most of the players I "swapped" were just a few spots here and there... If you were to look you can somewhat obviously see that players like YuTa vince edwards and spalding have good potential. I created this thread so that myself and others can play the role of a GM and view all the players. it wasn't easy . I still dont have the sextons, youngs, sga's etc... ranked that high. and I still took time out to scout the second round which I have highly different than most.

I have a feeling that this franchise will select Mikal, but I am hoping we select Yuta, Zhaira, Okagi or Knox with the first pick. I still would take YuTa (after trading back) with our first pick.
