Note: We were the worst rebounding team in the league. I thought Robinson would fill that hole for us. I also liked Beal but T-Rob was my guy.

2013

Note: This team needed shooting and athleticism. Ben wasn't the right guy but he was the right archetype. I was okay with us going with Zeller though.

2014

Note: Again was looking at shooting and athleticism. Was stoked when Vonleh was still on the board. It never manifested but in summer league he showed an incredible handle that I thought would be the center point of his game.

I remember being blindsided by the May pick, Augustin pick, and Zeller pick. I didn't even consider them in the entire process. It would be like if we took Donte Divincenzo at 12 this draft.

Notes: Really wanted Kemba at 9 because of the tournament, Wanted Kanter because i saw him in a commercial (yep). Didn't really pay attention this year. Didn't even know Biz existed until we picked him.

2012
Wanted: #2 Robinson, #31 Draymond

Notes: I thought T-Rob was going to be a walking double double. Thought Draymond would be a solid utility guy, turned into a great utility guy.

2013: #4 Bennett
Wanted as unfolded: Noel. Really wanted to trade back with Minnesota

Notes: Thought AB would be a SF version of Z-Bo. Wanted to take a swing on Noels potential. Fine with Cody, i knew we would pick him. Wanted to trade back.

2014: #11 Stauskas #24: PJ
Wanted as unfolded: Noah, PJ

Notes: Thought Stauskas was going to be a very good shooter/2nd playmaker. PJ was going to be a 6th man. Had a stroke when Vonleh fell, we thought we had our PF.


2015: #9 Stanley Johnson
Wanted as unfolded: Booker or Turner

Notes: Throught Stan would be a beast pairing with MKG. Thought Booker would be a good 3pt specialist and I think im like one of the only people who thought Turner would be like a bigger Ibaka.

2016: Dont remember/didn't care

2017: #11, think i wanted Kennard

#31, dont remember but i think i liked Frank Mason

Notes: Kennard would finally be our Kemba back-court pairing. Was happy as fudge when Monk fell though. We needed a backup PG and Mason was solid as Kansas.

2018: #11, would've been fine with Miles or SGA

Notes: Would've been fine with anyone besides Knox.
