I'd rather Ball over Sexton but barely mainly due to his 2 point per game I'm greatest of all time dad.

I'd rather the team not have to deal with another #2 pick that can't shoot, but his fit with Monk (and Graham) is superb.

For me it comes down to the rest of the trade. I would take Ball over Sexton straight up. However, if Cleveland gets desperate and sends Sexton, their 2021 1st and take Batum back, that changes things

And we make Cleveland add Cedi.

Honestly, I meant to add Cedi Osman. I have actually posted that idea a couple of times in the last few days.

Philly

Kemba
Lamb
Covington
Simmons
Embiid

Charlotte

Fultz - Graham
Monk - Bacon
Bridges - MKG
Saric - Kaminsky
Zeller - Hernangomez

Toss in our next two lotto picks and we're a playoff team by the time we cash in that Miami pick. Fultz can't shoot but Monk balances his deficiencies perfectly. The dude is fast and can run with Monk. And man is this team gonna lose big the next two years and if this draft is any indicator, Kupchak is really gonna collect.

Philly is the path to quickest rebuild. Quit dicking around with Sexton and Ball and all that horse **** and hoopla because that's all it is.

I like this trade. I would then make sure to tank hard for one year to try for the top pick next year. The draft next year doesn't look as deep, but RJ Barrett sitting at the top looks like a potential superstar.

It has the benefit of subtracting 2 win-now players. For Philly, they fit together as a backcourt pairing. Great chemistry and comradarie, both ready to help carry a playoff team. But for us, if we ship out Kemba, what is the point of retaining Lamb for 15 per, especially when we have Monk? As soon as Kemba is traded, Lamb loses significant value to us. And because Kemba makes Lamb better, the addition of Lamb boosts the value of the trade for Philly.
