Hes an awful basketball player.

Yes. The core has been restored. Bismack never should’ve been let go and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s our starting C by the end of the season come playoff time assuming that I like Borrego as a head coach and Cody inevitably struggle with injuries.

Given the context of the trade, yes. Hes perfectly fine for a 3rd string bruiser that you throw out there every now and then to hit the boards and put the fear in opposing players.

Re: Do you like trading for bismack.?
if we ignore how we got Mozgov, yeah definitely. but just turning Mozgov into Biz is great. We should never have let him go in the first place. We could probably have locked him down on a 4-5 year $7-9M per year at that time and saved us the trouble of going to desperate measures to find his replacement (Hawes, Hibbert, Plumlee, Howard, Mozgov are never here)
investigate Adam Silver

Re: Do you like trading for bismack.?
Mozgov sets moving picks all the time so he was unplayable, and i pass on his defense and rebounding skill, the only thing who made him a nba player was his decent hands & athleticism. At least Biyombo sets good picks, something that was missing. And somehow i have the feeling Cody could be played at the 4 along with him. Don't need to talk about his defense, especially when you have the backcourt this team has.
Gobert has a very limited offensive game and that does not prevent his team from performing.
But i am pissed seeing that Ennis was signed for the minimum by Houston. Like i was /facepalm when Scott had been signed by the wizards for like nothing.
This team does not know which roleplayers to target. And waste every opportunity to build a balanced roster

Once Mozgov was in the fold, this trade was a no-brainer. Trade a disgruntled guy who would likely never see the court (and continue to be a problem) for a guy who will have some situational value, will cheerlead from the bench, and a couple of 2nd round chips.

I have a conspiracy theory that Biz doesn't make it to CLT, he'll be sent somewhere else. We'll see if it comes true.
At what point is it weird that TP hasn't signed his contract?

In context, absolutely. Whether you like Biz or not he's >>>>>>> Mozgov.

Yes Biz can at least do a couple things at an above average rate.

Re: Do you like trading for bismack.?
I honestly have no idea why people were excited when we traded for Biz. He was such a liability on offense that our team literally stopped passing him the ball. There were articles on deadspin or grantland or the ringer (can't remember) about how he was literally last in the league in receiving passes. Playing 4 on 5 on offense isn't great. He can't catch passes. He can't shoot outside of 3 feet. These seem to be important skills for being a professional basketball player.
Now, if we swapped Mozgov for Biz because Mozgov wasn't going to be happy rotting on our bench (like he spoke out last year about not being used in Brooklyn), then I can see why we did it. We also got 2 second rounders. But it sure wasn't because of basketball, because you have to be good at basketball in order to play well and contribute.
