I was kinda shocked I didn’t see anything about Bob Bass, he was not the best GM we have even had by a mile.

Very sorry to hear that, although I’ve not been aware of his status for quite some time. Your comment wasn’t clear, but I would suggest Bass was the best GM in Charlotte Hornets/Bobcats history. He did some amazing things to keep us highly competitive via trades.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

RIP, the greatest GM we ever had. He won't be forgotten by old-school Charlotte fans, that's for sure. The man who could turn chicken **** (Shinn's refusal to pay anyone, ever) into chicken salad year after year.

A front office genius and one of the best GM's ever period.
Working with a small market budget he got Charlotte to the playoffs in seven of his nine seasons, oversaw the only two seasons of 50+ win seasons in franchise history including the 54 win 1997 season where he won NBA Executive of the Year
He was a superb talent evaluator and a master or parlaying players who were about to pass their prime and/or be too expensive to retain into trade pieces used to pluck undervalued assets from other teams. MJ and this Hornets team could learn alot from his track record.
Mourning for Rice/Geiger
LJ for Mason
Rice for Eddie Jones and Eldon Campbell
Mason/Jones (who was going to command a max extension to retain) for Mashburn and PJ Brown
