Zach Lowe predicts that the Hornets keep and re-sign Kemba. Suggests Charlotte as a potential trade destination for Kevin Love.

My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Both of those things sound plausible, we've definitely discussed it here. I'm not sure how much Love moves the needle, does he even make us a 4th/5th seed? If not is two max contract players at age 30 on a 45 win team worth it? I'm also not sure what we could possibly offer in a fair trade (I would not offer Bridges under any circumstances), but he and Kemba are an intriguing duo.

Re: 18-2019 season prediction thread
The letter below was just sent out from Mitch Kupchak to Hornets season ticket holders. It really seems like he is pushing us in the right direction and that the team is buying into it as a group. Hopefully, it translates to wins on the court and lots of good ball.
Dear XXXX,
On behalf of the entire Charlotte Hornets organization, I want to personally welcome you to the start of the 2018-19 NBA season. On Wednesday night when we tip off against the Milwaukee Bucks at Spectrum Center not only will we be marking the start of the 2018-19 campaign, but we’ll also be celebrating the 30th anniversary of the NBA’s inaugural season in Charlotte.
Since I arrived in Charlotte in April as the team’s new President of Basketball Operations, we have been extremely active in looking for ways to improve our team and set us up for future success. From hiring Head Coach James Borrego to acquiring Miles Bridges and Devonte Graham via draft night trades to signing free-agent point guard Tony Parker, it has been an eventful summer.
We hired Coach Borrego with the intention of playing a quicker pace, improving our ball movement, incorporating an aggressive switching defense and shooting more three-pointers. This modern style of NBA basketball is something that I really enjoy, and I believe it is also a style that is very appealing to you – our fans.
Through training camp and the preseason, we have already seen some positive results from this new style of play. There has been a renewed focus on three-point shooting. In our last preseason game at Dallas, we had 11 different players make a three-point shot. Our players have been willing to share the basketball as our coaching staff has emphasized the importance of ball movement and getting the best shot possible.
I’m encouraged by the initial steps that we have seen by our coaching staff and our players. There is a true commitment to this new style of play. There is a passion for player development and maximizing the talents of each and every player on our team. There is an energy level present in our gym every day that has us excited to see what we can do and where we can go as a team. We will continue to work hard, improve and compete each and every night.
Lastly, I’d like to personally thank you for your continued support of the Charlotte Hornets. As a Swarm365 Member, your passion, commitment and dedication to our franchise is unmatched. For that, I sincerely thank you. Please know that you are a big part of our team. As a former player who has experienced it first hand, I can tell you that your support at Spectrum Center has a tremendous impact – you really do provide a home court advantage.
I look forward to seeing all of you at the Home Opener tomorrow night against Milwaukee!
Go Hornets!
