Can someone explain to me why bamba issac and AG can't be on the floor at the same time? Is it a matter and anti-matter thing?

Would it blow your mind if i tell you that most of us hated Clifford selections because of his ugly rotations, stubborn decisions and fact that he is not there to teach kids but to win games?

I'm getting this ominous feeling that Isaac will soon be DNP-CD'd because he'll be the whipping boy for that putrid lineup, and Clifford will go with Martin or Iwundu instead.

I don't love the idea of Clifford determining that just because Isaac and Bamba are rotation guys that they shouldn't be playing in garbage time.

They're the two youngest players on the team. It stands to reason that they not only need to be playing as many minutes as they can handle, but they need to play together too.

Forget that. They need to play significant minutes together if they happen to be the FO highest draft picks. Idgaf if Clifford believes Vuc is the best player on the team. It means nothing if he’s gone next year

i got depressed reading it

Seriously, I also read it and just feel really bad now... I really hope they fire Clifford asap if this continues.

What I like about our team is that there are many players for this system. We have a ton of 3 point shooters and a lot of guys who can bring the ball up and run a fast break. Not to mention there are no real superstars which is a plus to keep the players playing together

These are who I want with our picks in order

Raynaud
Kam Jones

Cliff played YMCA-PJ over Jeremy Lamb. He played MCW over Malik Monk. I mean, Clifford is so old school in his emphasis on size and defense he shorthands his offense. It's tough to win when your offense is so terrible, an opposing defense can catch a blow out there. Even a mediocre defense could shut down the Hornets. Cliff also stuck with ball pounders and shot clock hogs like Big Al and Dwight. He played MKG big minutes with those guys. There was no shooting to speak of. Gerald Henderson was another pet of his. The dude walked out of 1985.

"Coach Steve Clifford doesn’t feel the 20-year-old 7-footer (Bamba) is ready to jump into the lineup any time soon. “I want him to play 82 (games), and he’s going to be out there and playing quality minutes,” Clifford said. “But he’s just not ready to play starter’s minutes against starting players. (A reserve role) is a big part of how you bring a player along. He’s in a role that’s ideal for him.” The unspecified minutes restriction is designed to have him “playing his best in March and April,” Clifford added.

No offense to the Magic, but does Clifford seriously think they'll be in playoff contention and playing meaningful games in March/April?

Just play the kid, you aren't going anywhere with Vucevic. They're insane if they bring him back next year.

Cliff has found his new Bismack. In a few years everyone will be wondering "whatever happened to that Bamba guy"?
