He seems to spring to the small ball line ups pretty quickly.

Does one directly lead to the other? If your bigs don't finish, then what are the other choices besides small ball?

I'm more worried about stopping the other team from scoring in the paint than I am of our bigs scoring at our end.

Ibaka and JV did what ever they wanted last night Vs our small ball line up.

If it’s just scoring in the paint you want to stop, biz can do that.

Its definitely enough for me I guess...

I completely agree. His job description for me is literally just "organize the second unit and keep it from being a massive net negative." The fact that our bench might be considered a plus is a total 180 degree pivot from the last two seasons.

We essentially gave him a 1 year, $5M deal. I think he's proven to be fine value and a totally serviceable if not plus backup PG.

Idk, This reminds me of people talking themselves into MCW last season because hes a plus defender.

Out of the 4 games I’ve watched so far I haven’t had to face palm about the way TP is playing as our backup like I’ve become accustomed to over the past several years with Sessions, Ridnour, Roberts, and MCW. He’s been okay with me even though the advanced numbers make him look very bad lol.
