1 - I went with Monk, but its because we've actually had the chance to see him progress and develop a little, so I'm slightly more confident of his ability to improve going forward. Bridges hasn't had enough time yet.
2 - I'd keep Monk if I had to choose, but I'm offering future picks before either one of them if we are making a trade to help Kemba. I like them both and think they are both better prospects than what you could expect from a pick in the 14-18 range in an average draft. They're both more likely to be major contributors in the Kemba window than someone drafted mid 1st in the 2019 or after unless we randomly get lucky with a lesser hyped player who turns out to be a huge steal.

JDR720 wrote:I think Monk has more star potential, but a much lower downside. If he cant score at a good and efficient level he wont make it but if he can put it together he can be a Lou Williams type or maybe even an Eric Gordon. Really good 6th man and maybe a slim shot at being an All-Star a couple times. Can maybe be a top 20 PG though, if he can develop his handle and passing more.
Miles has a lower ceiling, but if he meets that ceiling he will be a player every team can use. Will never be a top scorer, probably will level out in the mid-teens but will be pretty efficient especially if his 3pt shot improves. Should be able to guard multiple positions too. Maybe a higher end of Trevor Ariza and a lower end of DeMarre Carroll. If he doesn't develop then he will be a useful 15mpg hustle player, but will be in the league while Monk probably wont be.
^^ This. Say what you want about defense wins championships; this is a scorers league. If monk can keep his efficiency were it is right now he’ll have a spot in this league for a long time. Miles on the other hand has to work on his game to stay in the league a long time. Potential is tough to measure, but they both have it, and the same with Graham. Some guys you can just tell. And the other hand Kaminsky, Bacon, and (B)Willy either don’t have it or aren’t built for this team. None of them said the wrong thing and don’t appear to cause problem but some things are apparent without words being said. Kaminsky I really don’t like because he has all the basketball IQ in the world and just doesn’t care. That’s the worst.

I am not high on either. Monk is too erratic and you can see in Miles eyes he himself doesn't think he belongs. Just doesn't have much potential. He is the type of player that would benefit from an injury {knock on wood} and be forced to look outside of his natural athleticism.
I personally would love us to trade both and acquire Theo Pinson and Yuta Watanabe who I think would be available for both players. Both of those players can play 3 positions each and have a good amount of potential although they are rarely used.
