You do have to admit, the Clippers did get a lot of fortunate bounces. I remember two key threes that bounced around and in for them.

It’s a shame that Biz only played 14 minutes tonight and was our best frontcourt player.

Oh look, a game where we are up 20 in Q3 and lose the entire lead in a close game at the buzzer.

If TP can’t get through to his close buddy Batum who happens to be playing his worst ball in a Hornets uniform this year then I don’t trust him to get through to anyone else to be honest.

Missed the game tonight but just looked at the stats and noticed Batum played 40 minutes. He must have been really effective in JB's opinion but his stats don't seem to show it....lol

Let Good Brother Bravor tell it he earned his keep by hitting a wide open 3 in the short corner in the waning minutes.

He was virtually invisible the rest of the game.

Oh yea and Miles was trash tonight too but that’s been his niche almost all season after October. But the block on Harrell was nice.

There is a difference between costing the Hornets the game and being a non factor. Anyway some people will never change i guess.

I'm of the opinion that Batum is a solid glue man. What he does may not show up in the box score but he provides some value to the team on both ends. For comparison purposes, MKG would do much worse in Batum's role since he can't shoot long range at all.

Batum does have some value of maybe 8 to 10 million. But when you are payed like a superstar, the team and fanbase should expect more effort than he normally provides. Playing 35 to 40 minutes a game and being invisible for most of the game is not a way to help the team and get any appreciation from the fanbase. We do have other bad contracts and poor performers but he stands out because of the ridiculous amount of money he is making.
