There is some weird voodoo thing going on with Lamb in Q4. It doesn't make sense how he disappears. He was balling this game through the first three.

I liked having MKG at PF form the stretch though.

Was Batum ever in the game during the 2nd half? I thought he was on the bench as I never saw him on the court....Maybe he was invisible

Maybe I'm just looking too hard for positives with him, but I thought Batum actually had a solid game. His passing was on point and I thought his D was solid as well.

He definitely disappears as a shooter but I thought he was far from bad tonight.

In an ideal world, the hornets would find an upgrade at center in offseason. Then Monk takes a big step and becomes a consistent 18-20 ppg guard next to Kemba. If that happens Batum might not be the worst because he wouldn’t have to score much.

Yea y’all have learned to accept Batum for the trash he is and now y’all immune to how bad he is. The excuse that we play better with him on the floor no longer applies. He’s just deadweight.

If he averaged his line tonight (8 AST, 2 to, 2 stls, 2-2 from three), that is not deadweight.

His D this season is light-years better than we've seen in him since he came over.

Batum is a smart player that plays his position. The problem is that he isn't very talented beyond the basics. If you ignore how much he makes, he is an alright option and I think there are worse starters in the league at the SF position.

Those stats are not much for 35 mins in a high scoring no defense game and I doubt he would be much more than a 15 to 20 min per game player for any other team including the bad teams. I think he has the talent to be a 15 to 20 point scorer but would prefer to make the difficult home run pass or just stand in the corner which is often detrimental to the team and irritating to fans.

glad to see the team come out with energy and shoot lights out, 45% from 3 is a big help; gave up 120 to ATL, though, who also shot 40% from 3 - that's not gonna work against better teams; still important to win a game like this considering previous losses to bottom 5 teams; hope this one gets some momentum going

Think it maybe time to face the face Batum is what he is going to be and maybe the game is starting to pass him by.

Like...he was good last game? I don't get it.

He's not a scorer, it's not in his DNA, but he was solid on both ends for us last night.

Batum has been getting torched by not being in the picture on defense. After Lamb, he's the primary "oh, YOU were supposed to switch? my bad  " guy on the roster. And again, this is Atlanta. They throw the ball away constantly and leave people open. If he wasn't dead weight, then Atlanta wouldn't have got back in the game lol

I said it last time we played the Hawks, but man is that Trae Young kid an enigma.

Got some good handles, shows some great passing, can stroke the ball but my God does he take some awful, awful shots. Just head scratching, dumbfounding, bizarre shots.

It's entertaining because he's not the PG for the team I root for.

If he was our PG I'm not sure if I'd love him or hate him.

I think my feelings towards him would swing from minute to minute, play to play.

He's just that polarizing to me.
