A lot of you guys really need to get laid. Or something. The self-loathing fandom act is nauseating.

That's an awesome photo. Miles would have cleaned up the dunk contest if he landed it.

for me one takeaway from the weekend was that CHA shouldn't have sold 2nd rd pick Diallo for cash; sure the kid is an athletic freak, but before announcing himself in the dunk contest his terrific defending made him an injury replacement for Andre Robertson in OKC's starting line-up; at age 20; Diallo is an obvious live wire and shoulda been a CHA keeper

I agree.

If Kemba would of played well and won MVP. The glass would be half empty “nothing goes right for Charlotte!, now he is definitely making all NBA. So much for getting at a discount :(

It was a successful All-Star Weekend. Kemba struggled a bit in the 3-point shootout, but so did Dirk and Seth Curry and they didn't hear it. Kemba still got the loudest cheers. other than when Steph Curry hit 10 3s in a row.

Miles actually got the first 50 by any Hornets player in the dunk contest's history.

We'd never had anyone get a 50 before. Not sure he beats Diallo if he makes it to the final, but he put on a better show than DSJ. Just needed to be an inch taller so when he was going between the legs off the backboard, his hands would be above the rim as opposed to even with the rim (which got the ball to rim out).

Kemba acquitted himself well in the ASG. He's always looked to create in these games, even back to the 2012 Rising Stars game when he was content throwing lobs and getting the occasional layup. The whole event is meant to be fun! It was fun!

i don't completely disagree, but what are we supposed to do with him? We can't even find minutes for Bacon who looks like a contributor right now

Man I had so much fun throughout the weekend, I've never seen Charlotte so lit before. Every which way you turned in uptown there were events and huge crowds of people, it was almost like a real city for a weekend  hopefully ASW returns sooner rather than later, but in the meantime I'm definitely hitting Chicago next year

Wow, completely not true. All Star weekend was a blast. Hundreds of thousands of people came to Charlotte and had a party for 3 days. No violence, no transportation disasters, no terror events pretty much all good vibes. Everybody from the Commish on down talking about how well it came off and the good hospitality. Probably won't happen again for 20+ years or so as there are 30 teams but to say it was a failure is just ridiculous and not at all true.
