This game just made me realize how badly I’d want to have Beal next to Kemba. If there is a way to land him this summer, would turn things around for us. Throw whatever is necessary at them. Kemba + Beal is better than anything else that exists on this roster or our future mid round draft picks.

Miles isn't ready to start. Having said that, I would rather him starting than Lamb so he gets experience and learns how to do offense things. Miles already has more intangibles than Lamb.

This new lineup is going to suck offensively though.

I don't like free safety MKG because he gets into foul trouble and he's useless for the rest of the night. Its nice when he's locked in, but with the switch heavy stuff he gets caught out of position too easily and picks up fouls he'd typically avoid.

When he was locked onto a guy before, we could just adjust the rest of our defense accordingly. His stats definitely suffered for it, but it was some stability that we definitely needed.

Plus if we got lit up, we knew that the offensive player was just being f'n awesome and there was a sort of "that guys just awesome, oh well" to it. Now, when we get cooked, there's a bunch of confusion in general because guys aren't used to responsibility and reacting differently each time down the court.

I believe if Batum played assertive and looking for his shot like he did in the first half that he would be tolerable and the team would be better. However, he seemed to go back to his usual passive self in the 2nd half so we will see what happens moving forward. I imagine he is a real dilemma for JB as he does have talent and the team does need him to be a scorer.

You are right about that. If Batum does not step up as a scorer in that starting lineup we will be in deep trouble as Kemba would be the only scoring threat. We were down 10 to the Wiz in the first quarter because Kemba was terrible and Batum/Bridges were the only ones scoring. Hope it works.
