Which bad contract would you trade for?

Assume that the cost for any of these trades will probably be Batum (for salary) and youth + picks with the exact cost somewhat variable by the name. It would take more to get Porter than Hayward for example.

So given all that, who is the guy you would want the team to gamble on?
My picks:
2020 Draft (3rd pick) - Tyrese Haliburton, Devin Vassell, or Onyeka Okongwu
2021 Draft (11th pick) - Moses Moody

Hayward easily.

I wanted the team to trade for Porter during the season. I'd be surprised if the Bulls were interested in trading him.

Hayward or Porter by a large margin. I went with Porter because its safer, but Hayward probably has more upside. I'm not really into trading picks for guys like this in general though.

Hayward. DeMar is probably the best player there, but he and Kemba are a bad fit. We dont need a scoring guard that cant shoot threes. Love is too old and his contract too long. Wiggins is Nic Batum and Otto is solid, but we cant play a role player that much.

I voted Demar. I actually think he would fit well into this lineup. Don’t forget he’s also someone who can take crunch time shots as well.

I don't think Chicago has much use for cap space next summer unless they think Davis will come home. So I wonder what else other than expiring contracts would they want for Porter? Would a protected future 1st be enough?

Hayward. I'd be willing to gamble that he hasn't actually fallen off that much, and Boston was just an awful fit and he had a difficult time adjusting. Plus he once signed here, which makes you hope he wouldn't view Charlotte as a stopgap situation. Perhaps he likes a bit of a smaller market and fits well with Kemba. This one is easy for me, I think Hayward is a gamble worth making

Wiggins. Over paid, no heart. But everyone else in that list besides Otto is or will soon hit 30 soon. Wiggins is also exactly what we need, a secondary ball handler and scorer that can relieve some pressure off of Kemba. Derozan could do that too, but I see Wiggins as a much younger Derozan at this point.
I am one of the few crazy fools that haven’t completely written off Wiggins yet. Maybe a change of environment would do him wonders. I would pretty happy to see Batum swapped for him but I don’t really see many reasons for Minny to do that.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Another bad contract to consider is Chandler Parsons. If we want to move Batum swapping him for Parsons would likely be the most cost effective option.

I had him on my list and considered adding him ... but Memphis literally sent him home last year. Didn't want him near the team. I couldn't talk myself into Charlotte trading for him, even in a cost cutting move.

Would be mildly Excited about the addition Tier.
-----------------
1. Wiggins - highest ceiling, better stats then most of the list, and youngest player. Minn. would have to be brain dead to make the trade. Worst Case scenario Jordan says something really mean about work his work ethic and we get to see him & miles bridges get the occasional cool dunk.

Might Successfully barely make the playoffs with this addition tier
----------------------------------------------------------------
2. Derozan - Better than batum, similar price, fill a huge need, and is more likely to free up cap-space earlier. Seems like a no brainer.
3. Hayward - Fills the 2nd scoring threat spot better than Batum.
4. Otto Porter - Younger Version of Batum... jack of all trades master of none...I guess

Wouldn't make the trade Tier
---------------------------------------
5. Love - I think Love is better than most do, but his health is an issue and we get locked into a more expensive & longer contract. No thanks.

DeMar would be a great pickup. He doesn't deserve to be lumped in with the rest of these guys. Otto would be second best but yet again, he'd be just a role player on an albatross contract.

I'd trade #12 and expirings for DD in a heartbeat. I wouldn't trade expirings for Love even if Cleveland sent the equivalent of a #12 pick back to us

I wouldn't give up much of anything for those dudes unless were getting rid of Nick in the deal. I would do #12, #36, Nick and Monk for #14, #20 and Hayward though.
