We're gonna end up having to pay Devonte as much as we passed on paying Kemba, lol.

We better lock Devonte to a 4/48 contract next year.

I just cant take Batum getting 30 plus minutes anymore. Bridges has struggled but give him all the minutes he can handle. Good L though.

JB did it again. I just don’t understand.

I get small ball and “positionless basketball” is fun and trendy etc but why did he play Marv and PJ for extended mins several times in the second half allowing Jordan to have his way in the paint - especially when Cody Z was playing so well? That just allowed Jordan to kill us. Up to then he’d done nothing.

JB cost us this game

Again.

Not sure about this coach. I never like coaches who, in game, are slow to adjust or doggedly stick to “the game plan” when it is obviously not working. That’s Clifford the dog...we got rid of him thankfully.

Yes JB has shown a lot of good this year, and is generally sticking to the plan. In game...still weak moments.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

That's not on the coach.

He's trying to make this roster work lol.... the point is, we can play with a PF and center. Not with a PF and a PF who can occasionally guard centers. Neither can cover that kind of ground required.

Lets not Knicks ourselves because a guy is doing what he can with what he has - in a season where we all knew we were tanking to begin with. The team is playing FAR above expectations right now.

He played himself off the court man. I hate Batum but Bridges was screwing everyone else last night.

I know some of hate the plus-minus stat, but every game it seems like the same when I look at the box score. Graham is in the plus Rozier in the minus and miles is almost always at the bottom.

Somehow last night Graham was plus 6, Rozier was -20 and they both played 34 and 36 minutes respectively. And of course miles was his usual - 15 in 22 mins.

It’s incredibly consistent. I suspect Miles is being brought down by Terry actually. Not sure how to really prove it, but he gets most of his mins with Terry out there for one.

Great observation. Check this out. Miles and Rozier are dead last in two-man lineups, a whopping -222 points on the season:

https://www.basketball-reference.com/play-index/lineup_finder.cgi?request=1&match=single&lineup_type=2-man&output=total&is_playoffs=N&year_id=2020&team_id=CHA&game_num_min=0&game_num_max=99&c1stat=mp&c1comp=ge&c1val=60&order_by=diff_pts

Rozier is also kryptonite for P.J. Washington and Cody Zeller. In other words, he has not yet learned how to pass inside to the bigs or to run the pick-and-roll with his teammates.

One thing I notice with Bridges, though, is he tends to rush his three-point shot. When he takes a fraction of a second more time, sets his feet, his accuracy goes up.

graham and bridges arent much better... -17 net rating w/ rozier to -11 net w/ graham.
meanwhile graham and batum are +16 (less mins though). rozier batum -.01.

everyone better w/ graham, worse w/ rozier, but also, everyone worse w/ miles (and bacon).
