The regression of Devonte is turning us into what we thought we’d be post Kemba.

It was infuriating for you and I understand lol. It was quite enjoyable to me as a Sixer fan to watch Embiid have his way with anyone you guys put against him. Sixers took what they wanted and Charlotte was powerless to stop Philly. Two straight games in a row and the Sixers destroyed Charlotte of course you Hornets fans want to paint it as if the Hornets lost because of some ridiculous circumstances to hide the face that your teams flat out sucks. I guess that fluke win over Brooklynn got you guys all hyped up and the Sixers were the cure that brought you guys right back down to reality. The Sixers showed that you guys are nothing more than cannon fodder for good teams.JMAC3 wrote:Tough tough game.
Embiid is tough to stop. He not only is huge but he has all the little Vet moves now to pick up the baby fouls on the defenders and refs give him every single one. Pretty infuriating to watch as he gets bumped a bit and flails and then next possession he shoves his way to the front of the rim.
Seth curry is also really good at putting pressure on the ref for calls. If he gets bumped he is flying and getting the whistle. Our young team doesn’t do this enough or we just don’t get the same calls.
Second game in a row where we just fell behind early never really put any pressure on Sixers the entire second half. They coasted the whole game.
Our defense scheme is so bad, we are going to lose every game from here on out if we don’t change it. It’s not even that our players are horrible on that end, we overhelp, double, and just chase the ball around for 15 seconds every possession until the offense gets an open three or layup. I would rather watch Embiid drop 70 on Biz and not Double and avoid watching them get easy shot after easy shot.
We just gave them whatever they wanted all night. We let them get shooters going and easy looks, we let Embiid kill us in post some possessions... I think you have to pick your poison and just let one or the other kill you. We just give up both willingly.
