Put me in the camp of "I don't really care if he's chasing one more assist"

The opportunity was there to make history, and I would hope the team would be working together to help make that happen, especially with the game essentially over.

Is it cheap? Yep

Will anyone care in the long term? Nope

I actually just thought he second guessed his shot and threw a dumb pass. Didn't see it as stat chasing.

i actually like biz a lot but

1) if he wasn't stealing assists this wouldn't be a problem in the first place
2) you don't do that on national TV
3) biz ain't good enough to be talking to someone eye to eye about stat chasing
4) nobody ever did him dirty like that even when the team was its worse

so, even though i get what he's trying to do - it shouldn't have been him and it shouldn't have been then. if anything, he put a bullseye on himself and created a whole talking head segment for lamelo

most locker room leaders aren't even the best players.
