Didn't get to watch but saw some highlights from the Magic feed. I found it funny that Anthony effectively cost them the game after the announcers were talking him up at the expense of Melo.
"Has he hit a game-winning shot? No? We'll take our guy."

Miles deserves credit for this win. He played a hell of a game and he was reason behind the best adjustment all night.
Once we decided to just play behind Vucevic and not double or shade his way our defense was a lot better. I can live with Vuc hitting 16 foot fadeaways and 10 foot baby hooks over Biz all night rather than giving up wide open threes to Clark, Bone and Ross.
Biz did a great job of playing him straight up.

Right now the Magic lack guys who can really punish us offensively outside of Vucevic. The Magic best play all night was running high pick and roll with Vucevic, we were hedging that action with Biz and sending help from the weakside to meet Vuc on the catch. Vuc was killing us on the 12 foot jumper over PJ, Miles etc before they could get into his body (they had some nice contests though he still made them)... before Biz had time to recover.
I know we have semi-athletic bigs with Biz, Zeller and PJ so Borrego likes to hedge screens and force ball handler to give up the ball to beat us, but when the Magic ball handlers are Anthony, Bone, Fournier I would prefer to play a drop coverage and let them try to beat us instead of giving up easy shots on the catch to Vuc.
Also, we need to stop doubling from one pass away when the opponents get the ball in the post, it is statistically a better shot for the Magic to shoot a semi open (or wide open) kick out three then Vuc to shoot a back to the basket midrange jump shot.

i mean, it also says a lot that orlando went dead cold in the 4th and they still shot 45% from 3 for the game lol
