Three of their bench players (Ingles, Clarkson and Niang) have combined to make 18 three point shots.
Which is more made 3's than our entire team (11).

Jazz are 51 out of 100 shooting 3s against us this season. Lol.

Someone forgot to remind them that a basketball game is 4 quarters not 3. Also, love how the Jazz are out there like it’s a game 7 when they’re up by 50 with 4 mins left.

Could you imagine this team against prime Warriors and the Splash Bros going nuclear?

The jig is up on us. The weakness is exposed and JB has not been able to adjust all season. Our only chance is when the other team stupidly goes small ball and allows us to match.

Jazz set franchise record against us the first game in 3s made. You'd think we'd make some adjustments right?
Lol heeeelllll nooo. Run it back baby and let them nearly make 30 3s this time

well it was fun for 3/4's
I'd like to thank the Jazz for making it watchible for the start of the game, putting their sword away until the 4th quarter

if Hayward has broken his wrist, how much can we tank?
edit: just checked tankathon, we could easily fall back into the top 5

judging by the rest of the east we're still 8-10 range if we start now

Re: GT: Game #32 - Charlotte @ Utah (Feb 22nd)
Monk had some beautiful drives tonight. Too bad it was in a wasted effort.
It was almost as if the coaching staff failed to put on the white board that "Utah likes the corner three." The defense was collapsing on the middle the way they did at the start of the season, leaving two or three sharpshooters open. They failed to pick up players at the line in transition. On offense, hardly anyone was setting a decent pick to free up our our own shooters.

I think they would’ve taken x rays at the arena. Sounds like he “Re-aggravated” his previous injury. So maybe he can play through it.

Hayward has horrible luck. Has some of the weirdest freak injuries ever

Just dropping in to say that I love watching Ball and PJ play (didn't catch this game, but what happened is clear enough). Excited to see how they develop together. Not sure whether I hope for Charlotte's long term that Hayward misses some time so you get a high pick, or that he comes back so you make the playoffs...either situation is good for development, I think.

Re: GT: Game #32 - Charlotte @ Utah (Feb 22nd)
Enjoyed watching the game (finisher on replay this AM). Hornets really competed over 3 quarters, but folded when the shots wouldn’t fall. That’s what happens when your defense can’t keep up. But, let’s face it, the Jazz have the leagues best record for a reason. They are deadly shooters, deep, have the requisite quality bigs, total team package. LaMelo was really good, having fun, but took a few poor shots as he usually does. Our bigs can’t compete with the top tiers. Bridges had an underwhelming game. At least Monk shows continued promise.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

He's looked really energetic these last few games - soaring for rebounds etc. Wonder if there really was a COVID hangover that held him back earlier in the season and not just JB holding him back?
He looks like he lost the bit of noticeable bulk he put on the offseason before last and he hasn't looked as strong or explosive driving to the basket pretty much all year. I have noticed him skying for rebounds recently too and he looked good driving last night, so maybe we'll see more of the drive game soon. If it was a covid thing he might not get back to where he was physically last year until he gets non-covid offseason to catch back up. If he can build on the driving + finishing or drawing fouls stuff he was doing last year while continuing to shoot 38%+ from 3pt hes going to be a nice offensive weapon.
