It's a nice change.

A nice change? We suffered of being anti clutch for so many seasons I lost count. We were historically anti clutch during Kembas entire career. We DESERVE this as far as I’m concerned! Lol

Is Gordo usually a 2 foot jumper? That dunk was so nice.

This team is just so much fun! We need to invent some new flavors of hammers to give out extra awards, because lots of folks did key things at important moments, and we needed it all.

Yes, we should add “Clutch” as an option. It would be for the player(s) who changed the momentum when it mattered.

No way!!

The Hammers have been a staple for 17 years in their current format and can never/will never change!

You guys crazzzzzzy. I like you, but you crazzzzy.

The Durham Bulls are on a winning streak and Crash asks Nuke about his girlfriend.
Crash: “How’s Annie?”
Nuke: “She’s getting pretty steamed, actually, because I’m still re-channeling my sexual energy. I’m figuring I’m just gonna cave in and sleep with her. You know, calm her down.”
Crash: “Are you out of your mind?”
Nuke: “I’m just …”
Crash: “Are you out of your mind?”
Nuke: “I’m just talking about one time.”
Crash: “If you give in now, you might start losing. Huh? Never (eff) with a winning streak.”

One of the best sports movies of all time. And it's still true.

It’s kinda like that girl you kept getting little next steps with each date, with each one better than the last but a ways to go. Now we’re getting to touch up that rack from the outside, which has always looked pretty good, but it seems strangely spongy...is this real?
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Oh, that was just afterglow talk.

I do feel like a Martin often does a few little things in a game that really makes a difference, yet they rarely do enough for a hammer. Cody came in tonight and slowed down Fox at a point where he was cutting through us like a hot knife through butter.

Maaaaaaan.

Really didn't think we were gonna come away with that one. Thank goodness we did though!!!

Gordon's steal and dunk infused the team with the adrenaline needed to take care of business at the end. Oh and Terry just making any shot necessary with <2 min left always helps too.

Going into a tough, tough, tough west coast road trip, but let's find a way to go 2-3 maybe?

BUZZ BUZZ!!!

Oh, I totally get it.

I’ve often given a Hammer to someone who might not show up in the box score in a big way but who, IMO, influenced the game in a significant way. Defensive stoppers are a prime example.

That’s why I love that no one questions anyone else’s Hammers in the Hammer thread. They are each to their own to dial out as they see fit.

Everyone’s always been awesome with that.

I enjoy watching good D as much as anything. NBA superstars can score on you anyway, but I appreciate the effort even then.

Cody Martin really deserves some more playing time, but I don't know where the minutes would come from.
