I hope we have big changes to the roster to build around LaMelo, not acquiring a big who can catch a pass all season was a massive fail by Kupchak and Borrego.....Biyombo's advanced metrics suggest he single handedly made us the 10 seed vs the 7th seed or better

they can completely remake this roster, everyone is for sale. the only players worth keeping besides Melo are Bridges and Terry.

TJ McConnel dropping 17 pts without hitting a 3 kind of sums the whole game up. We need some perimeter defenders and a starting caliber center bad.

I was expecting Martin to get put in to at least bring in some kind of defensive intensity.
Balllin wrote:Zion Williamson is 6-5, with a 6-10 wingspan. I see him as a slightly better Kenneth Faried.

******* purple shirt guy***
LaMelo and Hayward beat Lonzo and Zion on ESPN.
Yeah, I guess that's fair, but not sure beating NOP, which ended the season 10 under .500 and as the 11 seed in the west, qualifies as a marquee matchup. It was nice to get a win in a national game though.
Looking back at the schedule we also beat BRK in the third game of the season and it was on NBATV, and that 4/25 game against BOS was on ESPN and we won by 20.
Still, feels like we tend to embarrass ourselves when we play national games.

We also crushed the Celtics on national TV a few weeks ago, that was super satisfying

That was the one that immediately came to mind for me too. We've owned for the whole world to see plenty of time, but that was the one wonderful exception
