LaMelo is a bust! He was held scoreless in his first preseason game!

I wonder what Anthony Magic Randolph is up to?

We should cut Bouknight and bring Marco back

Why would they schedule two East coast teams in the 10:00pm time slot for tomorrow nights game?

That seems a little short sighted and not very fan friendly to me.

I’m not staying up to midnight on a Monday night to watch a SL game. I’ll be watching this one on delay…..after dinner on Tuesday night.

Wow, the age of this board is showing quickly (not saying I don't agree with you  )

I feel like some posters forget summer league is about player evaluation and not winning some kind of championship. Also, these are teams of prospects. Don’t expect them to have it all figured out right now. It’s about potential and upside. Some guys might be ready for a spot in the rotation. Some are future investments. Chill out lol

Oh, I’m old as dirt these days, no doubting that. I spent this afternoon yelling at clouds while wearing an onion tied to my belt.

That said, I’ll always watch our west coast trips live during the regular season and do those 1:00am bedtimes, but for SL?

**** that.

Scottie Lewis reminds me of Bernard Robinson Jr with the way he becomes a spinning top any time he drives the ball.

That was definitely the worst summer league team we have ever put together, which is saying something. I never thought we'd see a worse team than that Noah vonleh PJ Hairston ordeal. That was some of the worst basketball I've watched in the past decade, I am including the YMCA in that conversation.

To sum up it up, I ENJOYED Summer League as usual. I felt sorry for Sneed who missed the two free throws.
Glad they gave him a 2nd chance to play after. I wish we would have hand Keandre Cook on the team instead of he or Riller.

I doubt we keep DJ, Riller or Sneed...

Thor looked promising but for some reason it seems like he is already THERE. But not THERE. Meaning what we see is what we will
get which aint bad imo.

I truly feel that a few undrafted guys could be stars in JaQuori, Teague, Duke and the Pistons fans are enammoured with
Jamorko Picket. He remdinds me of Rasheed Wallace and Kevin Durant. Someone said he might be the next Christian Wood.

These are images of when we invited JaQuori in for a workout. I thought for sure he would be here...
Read on Twitter

I am posting this JaQuori video because in his last game he had more highlights than during his first... some say he reminds them of Lillard...

I wanted to post it sooner but they took a while for a fan to upload it. There is a chance he wont make their squad so hopefully someone in the front office reads this.

JaQuori >>>>> Cade. It could happen lol. If so I will cheer louder than they cheered for CM PUNK

JaQuori signed a Two Way with the Mavs yesterday. Not sure I like that for him because he's behind Luka who basically plays PG the whole game. But I could see why Cuban might have opted to have him on their team...

Not sure why we didn't pursue him... We have rozier but we still don't have a solid or proven backup PG.

I think it comes down to two things, roster spots - with 16 guaranteed guys plus 2 two-ways currently we have none - and Borrego publicly stating that he feels like he has a bunch of kids running around and needs some veteran presence; plenty of interesting guys like JaQuori this team could have taken a flyer on (DeJon Jareau and Macio Teauge come to mind) but Vanilla Veteran Ish Smith is what you get when the team wants to both babysit the kids and eke out a playoff spot

Yeah lol I know man we are unfortunately in a bind with our G LEAGUE roster who has nothing primising at PG and our TEAM roster
who has maybe the best soon to be in Melo and Rozier and Bouk giving minutes there so it might have been overlooked
as to still being able to use more help...

Also having Martin, Smith and Riller, and even potential guys in G3lo and Lewis there it's easy to overlook.

It's an obvious hole that seems filled to the top...

I actually think Ish might have a couple good games for us this year...

But I truly wish we could get JaQuori here.

Maybe he will end up in a year or two... For some reason I really see him as a HORNET. Maybe it's because he has on the
uniform in the pic above lol.

I didn't want to create a 2022 draft thread because I haven't totally wanted to ENTER THAT ZONE YET lol, but not sure what to think of this guy... He blew up overnight and is a manchild. His name is scoot henderson is someone we have to look out for. sheesh.

^TheStepien was hyping him up months ago. How would he co-exist with LaMelo?

Yeah I found out about him about 2 months ago myself *behind awesome basketball minds like yourself and TheStepien*.

I try not to post everyone I come across lol...

I like him and Manny Obaseki but not sure I want us to draft either. We have LaMelo, Bouknight and Rozier.
I would much rather us draft Josh Minott or B.H. Hatfield. This years draft is not that top heavy.
Much more talent in the 2nd round. Lots of steals there...
But then again maybe we should just take best available or trade that pick...

I think if we keep the pick mouhamed gueye is perfect for us. He is one of my favorite players next year
