Re: GT: Game #4 - Charlotte Vs Boston (Oct 25th)
Nearly 4-0. I don’t know why we slowed down at the end of regulation there. We had all of the mojo and then went to run out the clock mode. Should’ve kept pushing it. I also didn’t like the timeout at the end of the 4th, should’ve let them hold for the last shot.
Either way, tough loss to a playoff team with two superstars on the wings. These types of games win or lose might actually help in the long run and maybe they needed to be humbled.
Let’s go make it 4-1 now.

Im sad but not stressin. Our young guys clearly need some work in the clutch, and Hayward didn't step up enough. Hopefully the Orlando game will be a easy smashing confidence rebuilder.
Your Charlotte Hornets! We’ll eventually get something right;right?

Up by 10 with 5mins to go, allow it to got to OT then lay an egg in OT.
Disappointing, but doesn't take away from how we've started this season.
Learn from the mistakes (like the terrible inbound turn over), re-group and back at it on Wednesday.

Yup, just ran out of gas and let the Celtics dictate our pace late. Learn from it and be better next go around. That was like a playoff game.

Thank god, we need it. I’d happily eat crow for him to be serviceable

Hello, just passing by your board to tell you that you should fire your coach.
(Not that i am a fan of your team, but i just lost some $25 after that late 4th quarter collapse LOL).

I'm not sure, Hayward is not (yet) as impactful as he was during last season, but he proved me so many times last season that he is the calming presence in stress situation when Young guys don't really know what to do.
Against Indiana he hit a lot of big shots.
--> Yesterday, before OT, he took a shot he normally makes, screen on top, followed by a midranger. He missed it, but he usually makes those shots in important moment.
I'm far from ready to move on from Hayward, I even believe he might be a key part to our young core development.

I don't get why LaMelo was the only option. Usually there is a 2nd and 3rd option as well on an inbounds play like that - in case you 1st option is taken away.
But it seemed like LaMelo made a play to receive the ball and literally no one else did.
Had to be a bad play design or a play that completely broke down?

It's a little bit concerning that Mason was basically unplayable that last 5 minutes. This was a game where we really missed PJ.

He’s had several seasons shooting free throws in the 60s, surely he can get back to that.

I have been wondering what a package of Hayward and Washington can get us.KingCat wrote:Wonder what Haywards market value is. There are a decent amount of young teams that are trying to transition to win now mode, and could use Hawyward. Also Bridges and Lamelo gotta get paid soon, and we already gave Terry good money. I feel like the first guy off the block will be Gordo. I understand the value he brings to a team but if there is any time to trade him it is probably around now.

I'm kinda on the same boat.
Been wondering what Gordo+PJ+Developmental Big gets us.
Ideally a nice big+developmental wing
