yeah looks like any team with an athletic center is going to give us fits

and as a fan of a team conditioned to be not allowed to have nice things I'm a little concerned about Lamelo's wrist only because I saw him still wriggling and fiddling with it at then end of BKN and BOS games - did anyone else notice that? - which struck me as strange, I mean why would he still be twirling it if it didn't feel 100% Hoping its just some sort of long term physical therapy instructions but it gives me pause with his shooting off

Yeah, I did notice that, and find it concerning.

My wrist has been f***** up for years. I do the exact same thing is lamelo does all the time because it hurts Non-Stop.

He was messing with his wrist in SL too.

It definitely isn't completely healed.

Mason is not the answer. His size has not made us better rebounding team or defensive team. His passing hasn't really unlocked anything on offense and his FT shooting makes him unplayable in close games.

I was thrilled with the move at the time, but have quickly soured on the move at least as our starter. Perhaps we should have gone harder after Holmes. Or pursued a different trade.

If he was our backup then I'd be OK with him.

Also not really feeling oubre. Just not sure if he adds winning plays. He doesn't seem to be a lockdown defender by any stretch, his shot is so inconsistent, he doesn't really have great feel for the game other than cuts to the rim, bit of a black hole, settles for too many jumpers.

Like Mason, I'll feel better with him as a backup

I don't think he's better than Cody m, especially if Cody's new 3pt shot is for real. Cody makes winning plays. Is unselfish, much better defender.

I do really like Ish though. I've done a 180 on him. I love his relentless probing of defense, pushing the pace, leadership. If he only had some range on the jumper. Ish is the one move we made this offseason that I think we nailed.

When healthy, Gordon is the clear best player on the team for me. I don't really understand why so many are desperate to trade him, usually for garbage. You only move him if you aren't trying for playoffs.

Concerned that Melo still lacks ability to control the game. He only knows how to play at that frantic pace. Often the team needs him to settle the offense down, run something to get easy look. Instead he starts hero ball with deep 3s after no passes, or driving into teeth of defense. Hopefully he'll learn this skill as he ages.

Is miles at pf hurting our defense and rebounding?

I think oubre is meant to be off the bench and will be once Rozier returns, so for depth I’m happy enough with him.
