I love Martin, but his upside is limited, he’s just “solid”.

Oubre is great or terrible and he hurts us a lot.

Mcdaniels has a ton of upside and he’s been getting minutes.

Ish is either hurt or has lost his spot?

Either way, can’t hurt to try!

12 games (6.75%) into the season, Bouknight needs to be either in the rotation or in Greensboro. his path to becoming a rotation player has to get started. period.

Factual...I guess Biz was actually somewhat that guy last year eh? Jeez...

i made this point early in the season

the team went so young that they don't have any of those grizzled old vets who give no **** and just play hard defense and hold the young guys accountable on that end of the floor

If we still had biyombo he’d probably would have started while plumlee was sore and a lot of posters would have lost their minds

I don't get it

A contested step back 3 is not good offence, there was still time to try and get a better shot

Meh, I could think.of 30 other possessions to stick a pencil in my ear over that my triple double guard who shoots 41% from deep taking that shot. But I get it.

Yeah I’m not angry because it’s Ball, like I mentioned he had a few plays that weren’t overly smart but that’s his game style and overall it’s very much a positive. The coach now has to find a defense to suit.

thats a terrible shot. melo shouldnt try hero ball. thats yr 2 kemba nonsense that he'll clean up. we takeway too many 3s where the ball never crosses 3pt line. drive kick then shot wide open.

We have the NBA's 6th best offense (was the best offense before the two LA games) and 30th best defense I am not worried about the offense at all

My thing is that they have probably the #1 offense in the open court, but when the game slows down and they get stuck running half-court sets, things start to fall apart.

I've noticed Melo has some difficulty beating defenders 1-on-1, which isn't really new, but it definitely limits the style of attack they can use in the half-court and makes me wonder if they're cognizant of that and try to push the pace so much since they can't really effectively play slower

No doubt defense is a bigger concern, but we shouldn't just ignore bad offense when it's happening because we score a lot of points.

At the same time, ragging on LaMelo on a shot I don't mind him taking as it would greatly help his game taking and making 3's like that like Curry just seems like nitpicking when we are giving up 120 points a game. LaMelo is still learning and adding that shot would be lethal.

I think our offense can hang with anyone, even in half court, its just how much are we going to sacrifice to fix the other end. Like sacrificing damage in Diablo 2 for magic find gear and still be able to clear monsters at a great rate. Some of you may get that reference

Maybe part of the reason we are giving up 120pts a game is because we are taking bad shots so early in the shot clock so the opposition has more time to score themselves and a bad shot leads to an easy defensive rebound and with all our guys out of position, poor transition defense that results in easier baskets for them?

I just can't get on board with thinking anyone on this roster should be taking contested step back 3s early in shot clock. We can and should do better. Melo as the leader should set that tone.
