Could really use his physicality

We passed on Adams?

Not sure why you keep questioning me, but players like Holmes, Theis (who couldn't find a team in FA and settled with Houston, now would be our best center and we'd have to trade an asset to get him), Adams, Dieng, and even Allen (Cleveland traded a late Milwaukee first for him, we could have easily beat that if we wanted to) were available and the team said no thanks, we are good with what we got

It's probably because you're just making up a narrative and running with it.

Sure, okay. All those players (some with minimum deals) decided not to come here and chose lesser deals. I am wrong.

Wouldn't be the first time.

Just saying we didn't pursue literally anyone in the market without any evidence at all for anything is just empty narrative building.

What's the whole point of this forum if we aren't speculating? Why are we here? Just to give a "whoopie!" after a player makes a good play? We can't speculate on why we chose to pass on all these centers that **weren't available for some mysterious reason we'll never know but they just couldn't come to Charlotte, maybe it was Jesus didn't allow it and it was divine intervention**?

I would ask you why our front office decided to go with the centers they did, but I have a feeling that it would be very close to the answer that I gave and got chided for. Let's hear it anyway.

there's a very clear delineation between speculation and stating things as fact.

"We could have had player X, Y, Z but said we like what we have and passed" is speculation presented as a statement of fact

it's disingenuous at best and outright bull "fake news" at worst.

(IMHO) Making statements like that isn't conducive to a positive forum atmosphere. That's why I keep asking for a citation or some sort of proof when you guys make these outlandish claims.

If you want to make up some narrative to have an excuse to diss the team (which... seems counterintuitive if you're a fan of said team), then word it differently, and don't write it as if it's a fact (again, just IMHO).
