One only got points at the FT........and that was because we were in the bonus!!

At least the other one scored a legit basket?

A victory with two cherries on top. This team looks awesome right now.

This team has a real home court advantage now. They play with so much confidence in front of our fans. The atmosphere has been reminiscent of The Hive. I really, really need to fly out to Charlotte for a game.

I like Nick Richards, I think he has a place on this team.

2 years ago I thought Cody Martin was dog water, awful. Last year I thought Richards was absolutely terrible.

Now Cody us awesome, and Richards shows really good promise. Don't listen to me.

Literally thought the same thing about both players. Thought Richards especially was absolutely hopeless. But he's playing the role we need him to play and can potentially give us an actual traditional center. He's turning 24 in 2 days...Cody Martin was another second round draft pick on the older side, and our developmental abilities within the organization have shown to really consistently improve from within these last 3 or so years. Hopefully looking back it was worth taking 2 chances on good college centers in the second round, and seemingly one-way players trying out one for their offense and one for their defense...and with the current roster construction it's gonna be Richards >>>>>>>>>>>> Carey.

And as far as the whole Oubre vs Monk debate, it's clear that Oubre's an upgrade...

Monk last 5 seasons PPG:
6.7
8.9
10.3
11.7
9.2

Oubre last 5 seasons PPG:
12.9
16.9
18.7
15.4
13.7

Monk's a talented player who never really lived up to lottery level/solid starter production. Sure Oubre usually doesn't provide much else besides scoring, but he's a professional scorer in a way Monk isn't. In the microwave scorer role on the team we upgraded from a C to a B+ IMO.

It's been an awesome start to the season boys! 13-8...last time I saw we had the toughest schedule in the NBA to this point...with a lot more away games than road. When the schedule was released consensus was we had to do our best to tread water for the first solid 1/3 of the season...this has just been an absolute joy to watch. It's probably a good idea to realize that they will have peaks and valleys but we've got a very good team on our hands. Cheers!

Correct me if I'm wrong but 10 of the next 12 on the road and the home games are against the sixers. Lol good God

I'm a huge Oubre fan and he's gone after next season. Dudes going to get paid. What a masterful signing by Mitch. Gordon can come out and between him and Cody there isn't THAT much of a drop-off. Compare that to last year. This team can win a playoff series.
