...but you hope we stand pat at the deadline? Any average and better center will just continue to off on us until we seriously address the Center position. That simple. Plumlee just gets bullied. JB will not play Richards. PJ gets owned down low...he's 6'6 FFS!!! Kai is a year or 2 away IF WE'RE LUCKY.

Get. A. Decent. Center.

I absolutely firmly hope we stay pat unless it's for Simmons. We aren't going anywhere this year. Patience. Kai Jones is the key.

I'd be horrified if we got Simmons. Kai has shown a lot of promise for the Swam lately. so that'd be really cool if he could be the answer in 2 years. I guess we'll just resign to the play-in again for this year...which would be somewhat fine except for the fact that the players AND Mitch mandated the playoffs this year...

I think Simmons would fit us like a glove, but he's not coming here so it's a moot point. I think Kai is our starting center next season.

If he'd play Center, sure...but I've never heard him say he'd consider playing Center. Is there a clip somewhere? If he would agree to being our starting 5, it would be very very interesting on paper.

I do know we need to make AT LEAST 1 move at the deadline. Upper management has to send a message...we've been flat.

I'm rooting very hard for Kai. If he can be our guy next year, our team will really start to take shape. Until then, we're better than 9th in the East. Let's improve our roster somehow.

Perimeter defense is our biggest flaw. Not a center. Lamelo and Rozier are atrocious together defensively. Simmons would fix that. But that doesn't matter now. No one mandated anything. Relax. We will make the playoffs lose in the first round and everything is fine. Just need Kai to work his ass off
