His 2 longest seasons overseas by far were 29 and 16 games. All of them ended by injury. He played 300 minutes of underwhelming ball for the Kings. There's no universe where Sean May is an NBA player after microfracture. Doesn't matter if he was a svelte 240 or 350. Work ethic can't fix trying to play NBA basketball with coagulated blood trying to pull knee cartilage duty

I had micro-fracture surgery on my knee when I tore my ACL, LCL and meniscus in 2014.
Had I been in my prime I could have had platelet replacement therapy to stimulate and accelerate the recovery process - but because I was well past my prime opted not to.
You can still work out and after being non weight bearing on the knee for 8 weeks you can start running again.
McMay never ever gave himself a chance to do anything, because he had no interest in staying under 270lbs.
He was overweight in college. He partied like a rock star. He never took his NBA opportunity seriously.
