Which makes sense.... considering he was officially measured at 6'5 in shoes

NBA.com has him at 6'4", and most others like ESPN seem to as well, not that it's a really big deal to a casual fan or anything.

I was quoting the official combine measurement (which, as I said, doesn't lie)
You're quoting the listed measurement (which, as I said, does lie)

;)

Official doesn't mean correct, it just means from a relevant authority.

Your boss would be a relevant authority.

And you take what they say as "official" or "the final word" correct?

Yes

Not necessarily. That's not what official means.

Go tell Usain Bolt he isn't the fastest man in the world because his "official" time of 9.58 isn't necessarily the final word.

Better yet, okay bro. You're right.

Let's say someone did a run for their college team and got 9.56. It would be official, yet come from a different source. Dude, you're just wrong on this one.

sure they should, but i don't know if there's a number where the price will make sense for the bobcats and henderson will accept.

I would absolutely give him an extension before the season starts. If he breaks out this season, develops his shot and averages 18-20ppg, you know he'll get a $9-10M offer next summer. If we can lock him up for about $6-8M for the next three or four years, I'll be thrilled. And why wouldn't he accept? We're an up and coming team in 2013, and there aren't many teams that will be willing to offer as much as us.

This is exactly what will happen.

Honestly, I'm a little skeptical on Hendo being that guy to lock up long term... not that he isn't worth decent money, but if we are talking like 8-10m player, I think I would pass. I feel like lots of his production last year came because he took over because of the lack of talent on the roster. I don't know if he plays that well when we have Ben Gordon and MKG on the roster.
Who I woulda took:
2023: Miller | 2022: Duren | 2021: Bouknight, Jones | 2020: Ball | 2019: PJ | 2018: MPJ | 2017: Monk | 2016: Damian Jones | 2015: Winslow | 2014: Vonleh, Napier | 2013: McLemore | 2012: MKG | 2011: Knight, Kawhi

I definitely don't think he is an 8-10 mill type player. But if he would go ahead and take a 4 year 25 mill'ish type deal would be great.
