I think he could be a Chris Bosh type. Either comparison is fine with me.

Zeller needs another year of lifting some weights, but I think thats our future front court.

I don't think this changes that.

We will try to sign McBob, Vonleh will fight Zeller/Biz for rotation minutes.

I think this might spell the end of Biyombo more than anything.

Biz will be RFA during next years draft.

I think biz is here for the long haul, and I couldn't be happier about that.

I hope this means no more McRoberts and we use that money to sign a good free agent.

Vonleh and Zeller have enough size, length, shooting, and athleticism to be the best young frontcourt in the NBA. Jazz might get Jealous, because I would take them over Favors and Kanter any day.

'Fred Williamson', we didn't get James Young, but we got a suitable PF with a even more upside that remind me of Chris Bosh, and would be the perfect compliment to Al Jefferson in the frontcourt almost right away with his skill sets to stretch the floor and protect the rim. This actually look like a blessing in disguise so that Charlotte didn't have to hinge too much dependence on overpaying to re-sign Josh McRoberts' fringe ability as a starter or Cody Zeller's slender chances of becoming a legit 'stretch 4' because Noah Vonleh is that without Clifford & staff having to retool his game like a preemy

Cho got lucky enough in this draft with Vonleh falling to #9 that it's almost like Charlotte got a top-5 pick all over again, because I'm very positive if the Hornets had the #4 pick in this draft class instead of Orlando, they still would've chosen Vonleh, and he would've been the right pick. If Vonleh don't fortunately fall to #9, we're probably stuck with the lacklusterness of Gary Harris as a backup combo guard for the next 3-5 years, but Vonleh is the right guy

I think Vonleh will play the 4 with Zeller and Biz will of course be the backup big behind Jefferson. But what does that do to our offense? Vonleh and Zeller aren't stretch fours, and they dont have the playmaking ability Mcbob had. Cliff stressed the spacing to make his perimeter type offense work, it'll be interesting to see how he uses the two young power forwards.

I think Hairston can push Hendo for the starting SG spot from day 1. We got the scorer we needed on the perimeter, we got a potential PF of the future. Now we can pick up a backup PG through free agency and we'll be set to go. Taylor will be back and pushIng MKG for minutes (of course) and maybe we'll even bring CDR back.

I know everyone was hyping up Wiggins and Parker, but this draft class brought in some promising big men, something the game has really been missing. Embiid, Noel (even though he was drafted last year will technically be a rookie this year), Gordon, Randle, Vonleh, and Payne if healthy could all have sucessfull careers.

Vonleh is a 'stretch 4' though (can't say the same for Zeller --- yet) that possess a little bit of a small forward's game to put the ball on the floor that he wasn't allowed to show at Indiana. He'll be a much better starter than McRoberts into the future if not midway through the season. However, I hope Cho opts to re-sign McRoberts despite Vonleh's presence to keep some continuity and allow the rookie to progress properly without being thrown into the fire

So Vonleh dropped due to character concerns huh? Interesting. For them to not want Vonleh, but take Smart who we know had some minor character issues is kinda worrisome to me. Even still, we had to pick him up. I wonder if this is why Orlando went with Gordon, and the Lakers went with Randle instead of Vonleh.

Ok, I knew he had a decent shot but I didnt know he was a stretch 4. What do you think about the whole character issue thing?

I'm not aware of Vonleh having character issues. The guy look like a primitive choir boy if you ask me from looking at his demeanor. Can you link me to the piece that speaks on his character issues? If anything, he might have the same character issues that people thought Andre Drummond had as a player with a questionable lackluster motor at the collegiate level, but I think a lot changes and opens up as these players get under professional tutelage and training

:o

God damn, this kid has a fluid game out to the perimeter for his length & size, and enough strength combined with skill to hold his own in the post. Vonleh is everything Cho wanted Zeller to be, but he look a lot more comfortable at it
