I love this pick.

I wanted PJ or Napier equally so doesnt really matter to me. getting 2 extra 2nd rounders seems like decent value grab to me. Taylor project over?

I'm happy that you North Carolina fans got the player that y'all so coveted. I'm not a fan of Hairston's game like that, but it was great value at #26, and I already like him 100x's more than Jeff Taylor

I kind of wished we'd have kept Napier, especially since Miami wanted him so bad. I'd take him just because of that. At least Cho took advantage of the situation and got something out of them instead of just letting him drop right to them.

Imagine Kemba's reaction to this trade. You know he's all :banghead:

Im not a UNC fan, and it was by far the best value at 26. Its hard to get a potential starter this late in the draft, and he has the talent to do that.

The question is will he be a dumbass or will he keep his head straight?

I meant North Carolina as a state. I know that you're a Duke fan. Not many fans outside of the state of North Carolina viewed Hairston as highly, or even thought he was lottery talent like some here do. Like I aforementioned though, he was great value at #26, and with Jordan Adams off the board (#22), there wasn't a shooting guard that I could've argued as better value at that selection

Kinda sad but Hairston is probably the 2nd best scorer on our roster right now

no matter how good hairston becomes, I'm going to be so **** pissed if Napier becomes a future star for Miami.

Good pick imo, would have preferred Anderson though.

Feel bad for kemba, but I'm sure he's happy shabazz ended up with heat.
Shabazz and pj were my choices for this pick so I'm stoked either way.

Pj seems to have matured in the interviews. Sounded like he realized his opportunity was almost taken away. I hope he puts it all together here.

If this is indeed true, then that's not a sad, but great thing. Charlotte needed somebody other than Jefferson that'll allow Kemba fall back and look for more efficient shots instead of having to play hot potato with non-shooters until the shot clock was at 5 seconds before he's forced to launch a highly contested shot

How is PJ different to Shabazz Muhammad?

Did we just draft Shabazz Muhammad 2.0 26th overall in a pretty deep draft?

As a UConn fan, I preferred Shabazz Napier on the Heat than the Hornets. He deserved to go some place where he could earn the starting spot sooner than later

I like his talent, hopefully PJ can keep his head straight and stay out of trouble. If he does that we'll have a good player.

Also this probably means no lance which I'm so stoked about. Two troubled sg sounds like the anti cho move.

Mr. KIA, your new avatar pretty much sums up my reaction to this trade. I was so stoked for about 30 seconds after picking Napier
